Talia sings this at the time of Elspeth's Choosing

Why does the ground below tremble?
Why does the night seem so strange?
The wind was a messenger telling
The world of a wonder change
What is that light in the darkness,
Brighter than any I'd seen?
A Grove-born Companion has risen,
And she's chosen our future Queen!

Chosen one, stand straight and tall--The time for confusion is past
Chosen one, you've heard the Call, which makes you a Herald, at last.

I dressed in the first light of morning,
As if for a king's envoy
And then I went up to the palace,
The bearer of tidings of joy
I sought out the Queen in her chambers
And knelt down by her ivory chair
My eyes shone with fire as I told her
That her crown was assured of an heir!

Chosen one, stand straight and tall--The time for confusion is past
Chosen one, you've heard the Call, which makes you a Herald, at last.

At dinner that night, the court gathered
To see if the rumors were true
I waited with her I had guided,
For what her Companion would do
The Queen rose to make her announcement
To all who were gathered around
All eyes turned upon the young Chosen
As she stood and accepted her crown!

Chosen one, stand straight and tall--The time for confusion is past
Chosen one, you've heard the Call, which makes you a Herald, at last.

Chosen one, stand straight and tall--The time for confusion is past
Chosen one, you've heard the Call, which makes you a Herald, at last.
You are a Herald, at last!
