Gone for a Time

  Where are you my rose
Your bed is a mess
Your absence is noticed
Your presence is missed

I seek your sweet fragrance
Your color so pure
But confusion abounds
Apprehension and more

Your path is in turmoil
Your thoughts are a storm
Seeking yet running
No shelter for long

Always you have
A place at my hearth
Gone for a time
But sill in my heart

May your searches prove fruitful
May your mind find some rest
Till can be seen once again
The love you have left

Until you are ready
I wait patiently
Always the home
Where your heart longs to be
